A chance to reflect...

One of the most rewarding aspects of entering The RTPI Planning Awards is the process of taking time out from your busy schedules to reflect on your successes and achievements over the past year. Whether this is as a porject or a team, it is important to think about the reasons for your success; what happened, how did you achieve it, and what do you think makes the project/team an Award winning achievement? All these questions will need to be addressed when choosing the categories you enter and when writing your submission.

Just by being shortlisted for an RTPI Planning Award is an incredible boost for any individual, team or organisation. Many projects are entered in the Awards every year and being shortlisted marks you, your team, or organisation as part of the industry elite. It is most importantly a testament to the project you entered and a reflection of the time and effort you put into your submission.

The shortlist is  covered in Planning magazine and The RTPI website and is great promotional stream for your company.
